ESSENTIAL EQUIPMENT
GOAL $250,000
HELP EQUIP OUR HOSPITAL FOR CARE CLOSE TO HOME
From welcoming a newborn to investigating symptoms or supporting recovery, care close to home depends on having the right equipment.
St. Joseph’s Foundation of Elliot Lake is working to raise $250,000 through our Essential Equipment Campaign. We invite you to help provide equipment for the care patients and families rely on at St. Joseph’s General Hospital Elliot Lake.
Your gift will support priorities including:
-
Diagnostic care and early detection: Endoscopy equipment supports local scope procedures that help investigate symptoms and identify abnormalities, including those that may indicate cancer.
-
Care for parents and newborns: Fetal monitors and infant warmers support our Obstetrics Department, where healthcare teams provide care during labour, delivery and a baby’s first moments.
-
Respiratory and cardiac care: Ventilators and electrocardiogram monitors help clinical teams support breathing and assess heart activity.
-
Dignity during recovery: Replacement bathtubs support assisted bathing, helping patients maintain hygiene and comfort while participating in daily care according to their abilities.
The hospital’s equipment needs exceed our $250,000 campaign goal. Every contribution will help us move toward priority purchases and support the teams providing care in our community.
